Ky-ManiHis third album, untitled, is near completion, Ky-mani Marley is certainly a major star as a person in his own right. On February 26, 1976 Ky-mani was born to the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champ, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani translate to adventurer. Being an East African man, his music and tours can be described as an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. His unique vision led him to seek out his niche and explore his many talents. Many More Roads, a classical reggae record that won a Grammy Award in 2001, proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey The Journey, received a warm reception throughout the world and established Kymani's role of independent "artist". Ky-Mani is a mix of roots reggae hip hop, R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to produce his distinctive sound.
